I use very often the "Planning view" : it is a good wya to have a global vision of projects.
I think it would be great to have a new field to display : the field "status" for project, activities and milestone.![:)]( ":)")
So , you have in a single view a vision of your project : workload, gantt, and status of any activities, milestone,...
And, I go a little further...why not offer the possibilty, like other view, to select the fields displayed on the letft part of the screen, before the Gantt ?![:)]( ":)")
